Snyder Companies award $48K in scholarships

KITTANNING, PA., August 01, 2017 – Local high school seniors were recipients of a $4,000 scholarship award from Snyder Associated Companies. Mark Snyder presented worthy seniors with the award to aid in their future educational endeavors.

  1. Jared Xavier Croyle of Adrian and graduate of Armstrong Junior-Senior High School and will attend the University of Pittsburgh. His career choice is actuary. He is the son of William and Stacey Croyle.
  2. Makayla R. Chestnut of Cadogan and graduate of Armstrong Junior-Senior High School and will attend the University of Pittsburgh. Her career choice is military surgeon. She is the daughter of Jeff and Susan Chestnut.
  3. Matthew Alexander Stanko of Kittanning and graduate of Armstrong Junior Senior High School and will attend the University of Akron. His career choice is aerospace engineering. He is the son of Brian and Sandra Stanko.
  4. Taylor Elise Wood of Ford City and graduate of Armstrong Junior-Senior High School and will attend the Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Her career choice is speech-language pathology. She is the daughter of Dustin Wood and Denise Kanish.
  5. Chase Bauer of Kittanning and graduate of Armstrong Junior-Senior High School and will attend Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. His career choice is sports management. He is the son of Kenneth and Sharon Bauer.
  6. Kameron Noel Odasso of Kittanning and graduate of Armstrong Junior-Senior High School will attend Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Her career choice is healthcare administration and management. She is the daughter of Mike Odasso and Keri Odasso.
  7. Katherine Brooke Pyle of Ford City and graduate of Armstrong Junior-Senior High will attend Pennsylvania State University. Her career choice is field of medicine. She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Michele Pyle.
  8. Jonathan Reese Boltz of Kittanning and graduate of Armstrong Junior-Senior High School will attend Geneva College. His career choice is civil engineering. He is the son of Brian and Sherri Boltz.
  9. Anna Longwell of Shelocta and graduate of Lenape Technical School and will attend Pennsylvania State University. Her career choice is physician assistant. She is the daughter of Eric and Kristine Longwell.
  10. Melody Trudgen of Kittanning and graduate of West Shamokin Junior-Senior High School will attend the University of Pittsburgh. Her career choice is neurosurgery. She is the daughter of Rodger and Roxie Trudgen.
  11. Bret Matthew Lundgren of Kittanning and graduate of West Shamokin Junior Senior High School will attend Pennsylvania State University. His career choice is biomedical engineering. He is the son of Gregory and Mary Ann Lundgren.
  12. Larissa E. Kijowski of Dayton and graduate of West Shamokin Junior-Senior High School will attend Carlow University. Her career choice is nursing. She is the daughter of Chad and Holly Kijowski.
