KITTANNING, PA., September 04, 2017 – The Muddy Miners team, which is comprised of Snyder Associated Company employees, recently competed in the Tough Mudder event in Slippery Rock.  The team, sponsored by Snyder Associated Companies, raised $3K to be distributed between the Butler County Alliance for Children and Kay’s Cottage of Armstrong County. Both organizations offer forensic interviews to children identified as potential victims and/or witnesses to child maltreatment and abuse.

Jonathan Kolbe, the vice president of Allegheny Mineral and the Muddy Miner team captain, said his Muddy Miner team, was excited to complete the event together and to make an impact in the community by raising funds for the child based facilities.

Allegheny Mineral, a subsidiary of Snyder Associated Companies, employs over 200 people in Armstrong, Butler, and Lawrence Counties.
