Glade Mill Lake

The $2.8 million restoration construction was recently completed on the 52-acre Glade Mill Lake in Middlesex Township, Butler County. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission drained the lake in June 2011 because the dam was leaking. Not long after, local residents founded the Glade Run Lake Conservancy. Officials credited conservancy members’ tenacity and enthusiasm for generating and sustaining support for the project. The Fish and Boat Commission pledged $2 million to the project, and former Gov.
